Nation’s Restaurant News October 8 issue included an article page 22 entitled “Supercharged Scheduling: Making the Most of Integrated or Standalone Labor Schedulers.” The article featured the Deterministics Labor System as a best-of-breed application offering “more advanced labor scheduling capabilities.” With 500 plus units, four year user T.G.I. Friday’s is quoted as saying “When you get rid of waste and save money and properly deploy labor, it should follow that guests are happier and return more often…it’s a virtuous cycle.”

Paul Malmo and Brian Sill were awarded the "T.G.I. Friday's 2004 Operations Supplier of the Year Award" at their 40th anniversary celebration in The Bahamas.

Deterministics issued a press release in Nation's Restaurant News "announcing the completion of the rollout of Deterministics Labor System (DLS) to T.G.I. Friday's 250 corporate-owned restaurants. DLS enables T.G.I. Friday's restaurant managers to maximize restaurant throughput while minimizing wasted labor. DLS also provides corporate management with high precision tools to evaluate the impact of planned menu, recipe and workflow changes on facility, equipment and labor resource requirements."

Deterministics prototype design for Einstein Bros Café was featured in Chain Leader magazine. The president of the company said the new layout and service system increased throughput speed by 35% and order accuracy to 99%.

Forecasting Change: A new software program promises to transform the way restaurants forecast and schedule labor– By Quinn Bowman QSR Magazine February 2007. The Deterministics Labor System debuted at the November 2006 FS/TEC show in California is designed to help restaurants create more accurate and efficient staffing schedules. The system includes a forecasting tool that predicts labor needs based on food purchased and preparation time, and a scheduler that uses the forecast information to create an efficient staff timetable
