Foodservice Consultants Society International presents
Best Article of the Year Award
WASHINGTON (October 20, 2000) — Foodservice Consultants Society International
(FCSI) presented Brian Sill, Deterministics, with the Award for Best Article by a Consultant
Member during the FCSI conference in Washington, D.C. Articles published in The Consultant
magazine are judged based on industry relevance, timeliness and value for the foodservice
and hospitality industries.
Brian Sill won for his second quarter 2000 article: "Capacity Management: Engineering the
Balance Between Customer Satisfaction, Employee Satisfaction and Company Profit." An author
credited with over 25 articles on Capacity Management techniques, Sill described the methodology
and benefits of his approach and examined the results achieved with clients from the United States and United Kingdom.
